The Summer Academy is full of games, laughter and friends
We have a packed schedule of activities, keeping students as active as possible and making the most of the beautiful English countryside. Here is a sample of activities for summer 2022:
Forest School and Camping
Forest School and Camping
Leadership and team building skills are built through outward-bound activities. We practice orienteering and bushcraft skills. Our students build dens, set up camp and toast marshmallows on a fire they have built.
Outdoor sports
Outdoor sports
Making the most of the English countryside, students play tennis, football, cricket, rounders and croquet. There will also be our less formal favourites of capture the flag, bonkers rounders and, of course, an Olympic tournament. When the weather gets hot, don't forget out famous slip-and-slide!
Drama and Public Speaking
Drama and Public Speaking
Many students find their increased confidence in public speaking is one of their greatest achievements during their time at The Summer Academy. We stage drama workshops, presentations and balloon debates.

Our art specialists lead creative workshops encouraging students to express themselves in new and original ways. We tie-dye, make kites, carve wooden jewellery and shape clay faces in the woods.
Teambuliding activities
Teambuliding activities
There are countless other activities ranging from engineering challenges and escape quests in Sunningdale’s extensive grounds to ping pong showdowns and escape room challenges. We will be taking a trip to the forest for a scavenger hunt and geocaching. There's never a dull moment!

Students work in teams to write a daily journal in blog form, allowing parents a unique insight into life at The Summer Academy.
Fancy Dress Ball
Fancy Dress Ball
Each week at The Summer Academy finishes with a big party. After a summer bbq or formal candlelit dinner, we play outdoor games or hit the dance floor!
The best thing is the unlimited fun and the unique activities. This is the summer school you won’t forget!
