Student Code of Conduct

Below are the behaviour guidelines and academy rules that apply to all students.

Behaviour

  • Please be friendly, polite, considerate and cooperative to everyone
  • Please speak English at all times, especially during lessons and activities
  • Please do not use bad language (in any language)
  • Please work well with your teachers, activity leaders and other students
  • Please be on time for lessons and excursions and bed
  • Please keep you work file tidy to take home with you
  • Please keep the school clean and tidy, no graffiti or litter
  • Please keep your dormitory and belongings tidy
  • Please keep your telephone and other electronics switched off during classes and activities
  • Please be very careful with your money and valuables

STRICT RULES

  • You are required to attend all lessons and activities. This policy will be strictly enforced, the only exception is illness which will be verified by the housemistress
  • Rudeness, racism, bullying and fighting are not tolerated
  • No boys are allowed in girls’ residential areas. No girls are allowed in boys’ residential areas
  • No intimate behaviour between students is allowed
  • Do not leave the school grounds without permission and being signed out by a staff member
  • Do not damage the property or premises
  • Do not smoke, chew gum or drink alcohol
  • The use, possession or distribution of all controlled substances is prohibited at all times
