Your child’s wellbeing is of the utmost importance to us and we are always here to answer any concerns or questions that you might have. The course directors will be on site 24 hours a day during the programme and a full pastoral staff will ensure that your child is cared for at all times. Our staff and teachers all undergo thorough police background checks before they join the academy. Trained first aiders are on hand and each student will be temporarily registered with local doctors if required.
You will be sent an enrolment pack with detailed medical and safety information once your place is confirmed. Each participant in the academy will need to be fully medically insured for the duration of the programme and have completed our medical questionnaire upon enrolment.

OUR HOUSEMISTRESSES
Susan and Bella are our welcoming and caring housemistresses. They will be looking after the students in boarding houses and overseeing our pastoral staff.
Both Susan and Bella work as matrons so know the school routine very well. Susan is the Head Matron at Sunningdale. She has worked in boarding schools for 14 years with students aged 7-18 years. Prior to this she worked in camps in the USA. Bella has spent the past 13 years working with children in different school settings around the south of England. Together they make a strong team to ensure every child's welfare.
"Sunningdale is a lovely school set in beautiful grounds and with a great family atmosphere. This reflects into The Summer Academy and I hope your child will feel at home here." Susan
